Meet the environmental workers of Laurel Farm Herbs Story date: 25th May 2008
During the past few weeks we have been ably assisted by a new family of environmental workers. See picture. A family of robins successfully hatched a brood of chicks in our potting shed and the parents spent a great deal of time rooting through the plants as we were potting them on. What a lovely helper to have.

They are currently raising a second brood - so more assistance on the way for the an environmentally friendly method of controlling bugs. Other hatchings around the nursery include blue tits, long tailed tits, house sparrows, blackbirds, song thrush and moorhens. Quite an assortment of helpers - don't you agree? All helping to keep Laurel Farm Herbs chemical free.
